Cham Cham

Ingredients:

Paneer - prepared from 2 litres of cow's milk
Candied cherries - 12
Lemon yellow colour - little

For sugar syrup:
Sugar - 1 kg
Water - 3 1/2 cups
For filling:

Plain koa - 150 gms
Fresh cream - 1 tbsp
Powdered sugar - 3 tbsp

Method:

Prepare paneer.
Add yellow colour and shape it into oblong pieces.
Prepare sugar syrup of one string consistency.
Boil as mentioned for rosogollas.
Keep it in the syrup till next day.
Mix plain koa with fresh cream and powdered sugar.
Stir in a heavy kadai for few minutes in reduced flame.
Allow it to cool, knead the mixture well.
Cut the cham chams into to length wise, sandwich together with little of koa mixture in between.
Decorate with halved cherry on top
