Developer Overview
The Project Manager / Senior Web Developer will be
responsible for developing upcoming social networking web site
for the company and will develop and lead the team. The
ideal candidate has strong skills in architecting application
code and database back-ends and is proficient in UI design. The
individual is detail-oriented and passionate about clean and
modular code/design. This is an exciting opportunity for someone
who wants to play a key role in researching and developing
back-ends of new social web features and other emerging trends.
This position is very hands-on and involved in the
full-development life cycle of projects. Responsibilities
Architect, build, unit test, and maintain custom CMS and new
features to enhance company's website.
Able to plan, design, and develop a niche specific social
networking site from scratch.
Will be responsible for both website designing and programming.
Work independently and hire new candidates as needed for the
project.
Strong experience in working with social networking APIs.
Experience
and understanding of large community based websites.
Build and maintain PHP applications. Qualifications
At least 4 years experience doing web development
Proficient with PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, CSS, jQuery, MySQL
Ability to hand code HTML, DHTML, CSS and JavaScript
Working knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Efficient and clean W3C Valid HTML/CSS Coding
Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
