OUR sports goods business started under a humble background in a very small manner in the name of “NEW OLYMPIA SPORTS” in the year 1997.Gradually it grew in our area catering the needs of various corporates/ educational institutions/sports clubs who were all thriving to get quality sports goods.We realized the potential of the market & in the new millenium we started marketing the products throughout Chennai & later to other parts of India also, supplying major Indian & multinational brands.

The whole set up required a huge space for us & prompted us to open the current showroom ‘SPORTUS’,in the year 2004.We started it with a bang in chennai & we are proud to say that we were the first sports goods store in chennai city to display cricket bats & other sports goods in open for the customers to touch & feel the products.

We also realized the scope of fitness equipments in chennai ,particularly for those who were not able to burn their calories in this competitive world due to unavailability of time & could not spend their time in fitness centres.Thus we started our fitness section along with sports goods in our showroom in the same year & we were the only sports store equipped with full fledged fitness equipment & sports goods in chennai.Backed by the expertise of fitness trainers,engineers & above all -very good imported products,we were able to successfully retail our fitness equipment from the very 1 st year of inception of ‘SPORTUS’.Thus started a successful journey of our venture,with world class sporting goods & fitness equipments ,that now has become the Favourite of many.
